Adrenalina Marine · Vertical management web application · Version v0.25.9

Marine Yard Manager

The shipyard, organised around the work order.

A web application developed to bring together clients, vessels, quotes, work orders, operations, Sea Trials, spare parts, documents, communications and deadlines, from vessel intake through technical and administrative closure.

The operational problem

Distributed information creates delays and untracked handovers.

A shipyard simultaneously manages technical data, owner requests, quotes, authorisations, operators, external work, materials, documents, sea trials and deadlines.

When this information remains split across spreadsheets, emails, messages and local archives, reconstructing the actual status of a work order and identifying blockers and responsibilities becomes difficult.

The project creates one operational foundation, with connected data and role-based access.

The solution

A vertical structure built around real processes.

The work order connects the client, vessel, quote, technical activities, operators, spare parts, external work, schedule, documents, invoices and progress. Registers allow each process to be searched, filtered, sorted and updated.

On tablets and smartphones, rows become vertical and expandable while operational actions remain accessible without horizontal page scrolling.

The work-order register combines search, filters, actions and progress in one operational view.

Main workflow

From intake to closure, without losing connections.

Eight steps connect technical work, documents and administration.

  1. 01

    Register the client and vessel.

  2. 02

Prepare the quote and share it with the client.

  3. 03

Digital acceptance using an OTP and PDF receipt.

  4. 04

Open and plan the work order.

  5. 05

Assign operators, tasks, external work, spare parts and deadlines.

  6. 06

Update progress, issues, documents and communications.

  7. 07

Run and document any Sea Trial.

  8. 08

Complete technical closure, valuation and connected administrative work.

New module · Digital Sea Trial

The sea trial becomes a guided, documented process.

The module introduced in the v0.25 series assigns each session an annual progressive code and guides the technician through nine phases, with progressive saving so work can be paused and resumed.

OK, Attention or KO checks, engine measurements, speed, temperatures, pressures, events, anomalies, photographs, documents and chronological notes are recorded in the same session.

  1. 1Preliminary checks
  2. 2Engine start
  3. 3Leaving the harbour
  4. 4Navigation
  5. 5Manoeuvres
  6. 6Maximum RPM
  7. 7Return
  8. 8Summary
  9. 9Final outcome

Technical closure

Recorded outcome and final report.

Closure requires one of four outcomes: passed, passed with observations, to be repeated or failed. The system generates a PDF report and links the session to the client, vessel and work order when available.

Record-version control limits concurrent overwrites.

Responsive experience

Usable in the office and in the yard.

On desktop, the web application uses a compact dashboard, dense registers, consistent toolbars and operational workspaces. Up to 1023 px, forms, panels and tables remain within the viewport; smartphones use a reduced header, bottom navigation, module drawer and floating button for quick creation. Controls are optimised for touch.

Technical foundation

Architecture for controlled internal use.

HTML, CSS and JavaScript frontend; PHP 8.2 backend; MySQL 8 database; JSON APIs with application sessions; protected filesystem document archive. Significant growth in users, documents or imports requires a dedicated infrastructure review.
